Meshiaak – Chronicles Of The Dead (Alliance of Thieves)

New York, NY — In a world where thrash has blended with metalcore, black metal, and NWOBHM, Meshiaak has come together to champion songwriting, performance, and production.  The band’s debut release is a confident, “old soul” record that evokes the magic of  classics that include Metallica’s Ride the Lightning, Megadeth’s Rust in Peace, Slayer’s South of Heaven and Machine Head’s Burn My Eyes. Formed in Melbourne, Australia by 4ARM’s Danny Camilleri and Teramaze’s Dean Wells, the band is rounded out by bassist Nick Walker and major rhythmic weapon Jon Dette (Iced Earth, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax).

The debut album Alliance of Thieves will be released globally on August 19, and was recorded at Green Day’s Jingletown Recording Studios in Oakland, CA.  It was mixed by Jacob Hansen, who produced or engineered albums by notable bands such as Volbeat, Pretty Maids, Destruction, Anvil, Aramanthe, Epica, U.D.O., and Primal Fear.
