“This is actually my only tattoo. I got it a few years ago, and it was free too. It’s lyrics from the song ‘Time’ by Pink Floyd. It reads ‘and you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it’s sinking and racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way, but you’re older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.’

I got it not only cause is it one of my favorite songs by Pink Floyd, but it’s a great metaphor for living life. We are constantly moving forward and trying to be/do the best we can every second of every day, and that’s just a small detail within what happens each and every day while we orbit the sun, and our years go by and we become ‘closer to death.’ So, it’s basically just a constant reminder to not ever give up on anything and to always keep pushing and aspiring to be the best person I can be; whether that’s my musical career, everyday living, my goals I set for myself, or literally anything that’s relatable at the time. It’s relatable to so many people/things from a lot of different perspectives, and that’s probably the biggest reason I decided ‘I really want those lyrics tattooed on my chest.'”
