Greaver Preview Debut Album EarlyHEAR IT NOW AT REVOLVER MAGAZINE Post-hardcore quintet Greaver will release their debut full-length The Faun on April 29th via Cardigan Records, but the band has teamed up with Revolver Magazine to stream it early. The record, which is a Pan’s Labyrinth reference, was engineered and mixed by Al Jacob at Warrior Sound (He Is Legend, A Skylit Drive) and mastered by Jamie King at The Basement Recording (Between the Buried and Me, The Contortionist). “The concept behind ‘The Faun’ is a murder story that touches on racial turmoil,” says vocalist Michael Rozier. “Leon is one of the album’s main characters and is the spirit that is narrates the tracks ‘A Poisoned Well’ and ‘Earth Rune.’ Leon’s memory acts as ‘The Faun’ (much like The Faun in Pan’s Labyrinth), guiding every decision that Morgan (The female main character) makes.“ Pre-order now on iTunes. |

About Greaver: As a 5-piece, they blend a textured backdrop of dark, yet luminous melodies with the ferocity and rhythmic drive of modern hardcore. Vocalists Michael Rozier and Michael Townsel vary their vocals from intimate whispers to desperate screams when delivering their lyrics, exploring concepts of theology and grief. Completing their lineup with Sean McNaught on guitar, Eli Wray on bass, and Travis Hall on drums, Greaver’s live performances represent the intimacy of their lyrics by incorporating vocals from nearly every member, strong audience involvement, and an overall dynamic and intense energy. Greaver’s debut album, The Faun, is due out April 29, 2016 on Cardigan Records. |
